Easy Travel Adventures With Toddlers
Tips by: Nicki Odom
Here are a few easy places to adventure with your little ones that are low maintenance but still fun and engaging.
Wilmington NC NC Aquarium
Williamsburg VA Busch Gardens
Charleston SC Downtown
From the beach, to the aquarium, to small hikes in the parks, there is so much to do and explore with little ones here!
Hotel Ballast in Wilmington is our favorite place to stay right in the middle of downtown and close to everything.
The Aquarium is such a fun spot to see their eyes light up and experience new wildlife up close.
From forest areas to theme parks, there is enough to keep the whole family busy.. and tired!
Busch Gardens Christmastown
A theme park alone is fun, but add the magic of christmas with its record breaking amount of Christmas lights and every kid will be enchanted.
We stayed at Thousand Oaks Trail Campground in a cabin which was perfect for our little family and had playgrounds, Putt Putt, and hiking trails.
From fun on the water, to the beach, and endless amounts of southern culture, your little ones will be excited by all the adventures here.
Downtown & Rainbow Row
Take them to see the historic sites of downtown. The markets, shops, sights, and yummy food makes it worthwhile.
We went in the height of summer and luckily there were a couple of opportunities for our girls to cool off
Aquariums are such a great way to teach our little ones about the ocean and sea life so we try to make it to them often! Also, its a great way to beat the heat in July.
