Tips For Traveling With Toddlers

Travel with toddlers can be a little scary, but it ultimately doesn't have to be. I have learned the past 3 years, so many ways to make travel with my toddler girls work for us, and I'm here to share with you!

Make sure their seat is comfy for the long ride. Plenty of cushion, reclined comfortable but still safe, and shaded if possible.

They are often made of microfibers (synthetic fibers up to 60 times finer than human hair).

Having your little one as comfortable as possible ultimately goes along way for everyone's comfort in the car on any road trip.

Give them the independence of their own seat, and you will be thankful for it in the end too.

Get Them Their Own Seat

Finding flights with extra room space is a must for me and my family now. It helps for when the little ones want to stretch their legs a bit, and gives space for laying when necessary.

Depending on their age, you want to bring something to entertain them if. The smaller they are the less it takes, but 3 or up I recommend bringing an iPad or tablet with downloaded movies or a learning game.

Snacks are almost always a melt down saver or happiness maker.

Pack Low Mess Snacks

We often pack goldfish, cheese sticks, pre-cut fruit, puffed popcorn, or Ritz crackers.

Traveling with infants and toddlers can seem scary at first, but kids are more resilient then we give them credit for.

At the end of the day, your little ones are happy to be with you. Even though they may be in a strange place, making them feel like it's the best adventure ever is most important.
